Why a list is better for a celebration

Relatives and friends want to please you but are afraid of getting it wrong. A list removes that tension: they choose from what you really want, and you do not have to pretend to be delighted by something extra.

How to make it together

  1. Create a Couple group and invite the second person. A separate list for the celebration will be shared by both too.
  2. Agree on what matters to you: experiences, things for the home, dreams for two.
  3. Add a note to each wish: color, size or model.
  4. Send guests the link once the date is known.

What to add

  • Experiences: a dinner, a weekend trip, a workshop, tickets.
  • Things for the home you have long wanted to replace.
  • Keepsakes: a photo book, a frame, something for a shared hobby.
  • Small gifts for guests with a limited budget.

What guests see and what you see

Guests see the list and reserve gifts, so there will not be two identical ones. You see that a wish is reserved but not who did it. Gifts for each other before the celebration are better hinted at in personal lists.

Answers about the list for two

Frequently asked questions

What is the Couple mode?

It is a shared list for two people who fill it together for their celebrations. The gifts are chosen and reserved by guests who get the link.

What events is it for?

A wedding, an anniversary, a milestone birthday, a housewarming, the birth of a child and any celebration you mark together.

Do partners give gifts to each other through it?

No, this mode is for gifts from guests. Gifts for each other are better hinted at in personal lists, where the reservation marks can be hidden to keep the surprise.

Who reserves gifts from the shared list?

The guests you sent the link to: friends, relatives, colleagues. Neither of you reserves in your shared lists, but you see that a wish is already reserved.

Do we see who reserved a gift?

No. You see only that a wish is reserved; who did it stays a secret.

How many people can be in a couple and how many lists?

A couple has two people, and a third one is let in neither by a link nor by an invitation. As many lists as you need, and each is automatically shared by both: a separate one for a wedding, a housewarming or a baby.
