Couple: wishlists for two

Shared lists for your celebrations: a wedding, an anniversary, a housewarming or a new baby.

Getting started with a Couple group

  1. Create a group and choose the Couple mode. Add a name and, optionally, a short description.
  2. Invite your partner by email or link. They need a Bazhanka account to join; a Couple group can have only two members.
  3. Creating the group also creates Our list. Your partner automatically becomes its co-owner when they join.
  4. Add wishes together. For a separate event, such as a housewarming or an anniversary, use the add-list button beside your name; the new list is automatically shared too.
  5. Choose Share in the three-dot menu on the list button and send the link to friends and family. They can reserve a gift for you both.

Questions about the Couple mode

What is the Couple mode for?

For the lists of celebrations you share: a wedding, an anniversary, a housewarming, a new baby. You fill them in together and your guests choose and reserve the gifts. It is not meant for gifts between the two of you: use your personal lists for that.

Can we have more than one list?

Yes. Both members can create lists for different occasions. Every list in the group is shared: both of you add wishes, with no need to select a co-owner manually.

Who owns a list and who can change wishes?

The person who created a list is its owner; the other person is its co-owner. The owner manages the name, description and date and can delete the whole list. Each person edits and deletes their own wishes; a current co-owner’s wishes can only be deleted by their author.

Who can view our lists?

Lists in a Couple group are shared by link. People you send the link to can view a list without registering. A list link does not make them a member of your group; joining uses a separate group invitation.

Who can reserve gifts?

Registered viewers who open the list by link and are not members of your group. Both of you add wishes and see reservation markers, but cannot reserve gifts in your own shared lists.

Can we see who reserved a gift?

No. You only see that a wish has been reserved. Lists in a Couple group always show these markers to both members; there is no separate option to hide reservations.

Can we invite a third person?

A Couple group has only two places. Create a separate Friends & family group for a larger circle of people. An existing group’s mode cannot be changed.

Does this group also share our personal lists?

Joining the group does not automatically show your personal lists to your partner. Only lists inside the group are shared. Hint gifts to each other in your personal lists, which you manage separately in Lists.
