Friends & family: wishes for your circle
A group for friends, family or colleagues: everyone has their own lists, with gift ideas close at hand.
Bringing your group together
- Create a group in Friends & family mode. Add a name and description so members know who it is for and which occasions you have in mind.
- Use Invite to send email invitations or a link. Each member signs in to their own account and joins the group.
- In Members, use the add-list button beside your name. Add a name, description and optional event date, then fill the list with wishes.
- Create separate lists for different events: every member can have several, and the rest of the group sees them all.
- Browse other members’ lists, choose gifts and reserve them. A list’s menu lets you follow it or make a personal copy when those actions are available.
Questions about Friends & family mode
What is Friends & family mode for?
It is for family, friends or colleagues who want to see each other’s wishes without a draw. Members can have several lists for different events. You arrange the gift exchange yourselves; Bazhanka keeps the lists and reservations.
Who can view group lists?
Lists in this mode are available to members of that group. You cannot share them by link with people outside the group. Invite someone to the group so they can see its lists. Members’ personal lists are not automatically shared.
Who can reserve gifts in a group?
Other group members who are not the owner of that list. The owner cannot see who reserved a gift or reserve gifts in their own list. Whether they see reservation markers depends on the list setting: they can be hidden to keep a surprise.
Where can I copy or follow a list?
In the three-dot menu on an accessible list belonging to someone else in Members. Copy list makes a personal copy. Follow list turns on notifications for new wishes; the same menu lets you unfollow. These actions are not shown for your own lists.
What can the organizer do?
The organizer invites people, changes the group’s name and description and can remove members or delete the group. This does not give them permission to edit other people’s wishes. Deleting a group keeps lists that have wishes with their owners as private lists, and empty lists are deleted.
What happens to lists when I leave the group?
Leaving or being removed ends your access to the group. A list of yours that has wishes becomes a private personal list, and an empty list is deleted. An organizer whose group has other members cannot simply leave; they can delete the group.
